The water is warm but not hot — thermostat or element?
The ₹249 diagnosis tells you. A failing thermostat usually gives lukewarm water; a failed element gives none at all. Thermostat labour is ₹499 and element replacement ₹599.
Is the element itself included in the ₹599?
No. ₹599 is the labour to replace it. The element is charged separately.
Does hard water damage the element?
Scale on the element is a common cause of slow or weak heating, and it is one of the things the ₹249 diagnosis checks for.
Is the ₹249 diagnosis fee deducted if I go ahead with the repair?
